Paniza Ancestor's Blend Garnacha Spain 750ML

Bodegas Paniza Ancestor's Blend is a Spanish red wine crafted from Garnacha and complementary varietals grown across 6,900 acres of vineyards in the Cariñena region of Aragon, Spain. The grapes are sourced from higher-altitude parcels at the foot of the Iberian mountain system, planted in brown limestone soils on marl and sandstone, with slate soils in the highest-elevation vineyards.

On the nose, the wine is complex and elegant, offering notes of ripe red fruits, floral hints of violets, and a slight spicy background with aromas of black pepper and clove. On the palate, it is vibrant and well-structured, with fresh balanced acidity and smooth tannins that provide a silky texture. Ripe red fruit harmonizes with notes of cocoa, vanilla, and a subtle mineral touch reflecting the slate terroir. The finish is long and persistent with a pleasant aftertaste.

Each bottle contains 750ml with 15% alcohol by volume. The wine has received a 93-point score from Wine Enthusiast and 92 points from James Suckling.
