Yellow Spot 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a rare and storied expression from Mitchell & Son Wine and Spirit Merchants, one of Dublin's oldest family-owned wine and spirit merchants. Originally produced in the early 20th century and discontinued in the mid-1960s, Yellow Spot was revived to recapture the classic bonder's tradition of purchasing new-make spirit and maturing it in specially selected casks.

This distinguished whiskey is aged for a minimum of 12 years across three distinct cask types: American ex-bourbon barrels, Spanish Sherry butts, and Spanish Malaga wine casks. The triple-cask maturation creates a superbly complex and balanced spirit bottled at 46% ABV, originating from County Cork, Ireland. It is part of Mitchell & Son's acclaimed Spot Whiskey range alongside Green Spot, Red Spot, and Blue Spot.

On the nose, Yellow Spot opens with floral notes and fresh straw leading into rich toffee, honey, cinnamon, and touches of peach and apricot. The palate delivers an immediate wave of honey sweetness with fresh coffee, creamy milk chocolate, and Crème Brûlée. The finish is medium length with honey, milk chocolate, dry barley, and dried fruits lingering throughout.
