Leese-Fitch Pinot Noir is a California red wine produced by 3 Badge Beverage Corp, rooted in the Sebastiani family's winemaking legacy originating from Tuscany. The wine draws primarily from Pinot Noir grapes harvested in the Sierra Foothills and Sacramento Delta, with small additions of Barbera, Valdigue, and Zinfandel to add depth, light acidity, and spice. Grapes are fermented in small open-top vats and aged in French oak barrels.
This approachable, medium-bodied Pinot Noir pours a translucent light ruby and opens with aromas of ripe berries, toasted oak, cherry pie, toasted brioche, crushed pomegranate, and spice. On the palate, expect bright cherry, plum, raspberry, and watermelon up front, followed by vanilla cream, cocoa, and tobacco. The finish is complex, with hints of earthy loam, herbs, nutmeg, toffee, and a lingering vanilla spice. Alcohol content is approximately 13.5%.
The wine pairs well with roast chicken, lean meats, scallops, cheese, and Mediterranean vegetables. Serve slightly chilled at 55–60°F (12–13°C) in a large-bowl red wine glass to best express its soft aromas and delicate flavors. Each case contains 12 bottles of 750 mL.
