Château Les Ormes de Pez is a distinguished red Bordeaux wine from the AOC Saint-Estèphe appellation in the Médoc region of France. Sold as a case of 12 x 750mL bottles, this wine is produced by the prestigious Cazes family, who also own the renowned Fifth Growth estate Château Lynch Bages in Pauillac. The château traces its origins to the 16th century, when it was known as Domaine de Pez; the name "Ormes" derives from the French word for elm trees that once graced the estate's landscape. It is classified as a Cru Bourgeois and ranks among the most respected wines in that category.

The estate's 40-hectare vineyard is planted to a blend of approximately 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, though the proportions vary by vintage. The terroir encompasses three distinct soil types—gravel, clay, and sand—with an average vine age of 30 years and a planting density of 9,000 vines per hectare. The wine is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and aged for approximately 15 months in 50% new French oak barrels, with malolactic fermentation taking place in both barrel and vat.

Château Les Ormes de Pez is a medium-bodied, elegant red wine with a deep garnet color. It typically displays aromas of black cherry, cassis, currants, cedar, tobacco leaf, wet earth, and spice, with a soft, juicy palate and a peppery, fruit-driven finish. The wine consistently earns scores in the 89–93 point range from major critics. It is best enjoyed within 10 to 20 years of the vintage, and young bottles benefit from decanting for 1 to 2 hours. Serve at 15.5°C (60°F) alongside classic meat dishes such as lamb, beef, veal, duck, or game, as well as braised and roasted preparations, hard and soft cheeses, and a variety of Asian cuisines.
