Abacela's Vintner's Blend is a Mediterranean-style red wine crafted from estate-grown fruit at Abacela's Fault Line Vineyards in Oregon's Umpqua Valley AVA. The blend is composed primarily of Tempranillo alongside up to ten additional varietals including Syrah, Grenache, Malbec, Merlot, Dolcetto, Graciano, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Amarela — varietals that Abacela describes as creating a wine greater than the sum of its parts. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak (95%) and American oak (5%) barrels.

On the nose the wine offers dark fruit, plum, black currant, and barrel spices with hints of cacao and graphite. The palate is smooth and moderately tannic with flavors of blackberry jam, bittersweet chocolate, and a raspberry cream finish. Dry in style with soft acidity and approximately 13.8% alcohol by volume. While excellent upon release, this wine will continue to develop in the bottle over the next three to five years.

Pairs well with vegetarian dishes, mushroom-based preparations, and hearty red meat. Contains sulfites.
