Banfi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a prestigious Italian red wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the storied vineyards of Montalcino in southern Tuscany. This magnum format (1.5L) bottle showcases the culmination of over three decades of Castello Banfi's pioneering research on Sangiovese clones. The wine is released in the fifth year after harvest and aged for a minimum of four years, including two years in oak barrels of various sizes, mainly French oak barriques and partly in Slavonian oak casks.

The bouquet is ethereal, featuring violet, vanilla, and hints of licorice. On the palate, the wine is round, fleshy, and succulent, exuding black cherry, blackberry, violet, and rosemary flavors with notes of dried roses, cocoa powder, red tea, hazelnut skins, cherries, plum stones, and sandalwood.
