The "Vieille France" name — meaning "Old France" — reflects the house's deep-rooted winemaking heritage within the prestigious Champagne AOC appellation.

The wine pours a medium gold with fine, persistent bubbles and aromas of toast, fresh bread, and lees, indicative of quality aging on the yeast. On the palate it delivers bright citrus, green apple, ripe apricot, and peach, with a pleasant touch of nuttiness and almond at mid-palate.
