The whiskey features a heavy aroma of rich dried fruit with hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa, along with faint vanilla and tobacco spice. Each batch begins with a traditional mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, fermented using the sour mash method. The bourbon presents a clean, brilliant honey amber to dark amber appearance with a complex balance of grain, wood, aromatics, spice, and fruit elements.
