Winemaker John Pepe, who previously worked at Beringer and Kendall-Jackson, produces this wine on the riper side of the spectrum, blending in small amounts of Carignan and Syrah for complexity.

The wine showcases juicy bing cherry, soft anise, and fall sage on the palate, with additional notes of blackberry, blueberry, pink peppercorn, cardamom, and dark chocolate.
