Poggio Stella Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG is a classic Tuscan red wine produced by Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano, a historic cooperative winery based in the hilltop town of Montepulciano in southern Tuscany, Italy. The wine carries the prestigious DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) designation — Italy's highest wine classification — and is crafted primarily from Prugnolo Gentile, the local clone of Sangiovese, with small additions of other permitted varieties such as Canaiolo and Mammolo.

Nobile di Montepulciano is aged for a minimum of two years, including time in oak barrels, in accordance with DOCG regulations. The result is a structured, medium-to-full-bodied red wine with flavors of red cherry, dried plum, leather, tobacco, and earthy spice, underpinned by firm tannins and lively acidity.
