Château de Montifaud Sèvre Héritage Maurice Vallet is a very rare Hors d'Age Cognac, blending unique eaux-de-vie dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Sourced exclusively from the Petite Champagne terroir, this expression showcases the rich, acidic Ugni Blanc grapes grown in chalky, slightly rocky soils ideal for producing exceptional eaux-de-vie.

The Vallet family has been the guardian of Château de Montifaud for six generations, overseeing 125 hectares of vineyards across the Grande and Petite Champagne regions. The family specializes in traditional production methods, distilling only Ugni Blanc grapes and aging their cognacs far longer than required by law.

Copper with shades of mahogany in color, the nose opens with licorice and warm spices over an underlying base of old leather. The palate is powerful, woody, and full-bodied, with fantastic fruity depth leading to complex rancio and a long, harmonious finish. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is presented in a four-sided crystal decanter made by Sèvre, featuring elegant lines and an oversized crystal stopper, housed in a presentation box lined with gold silk.
