Ferrari-Carano Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is a California red wine sourced from grapes grown in Mendocino County's Anderson Valley appellation, known for its cool coastal climate that produces elegant, nuanced Pinot Noir.

Aromas of ripe cherry, cola, dark currant, and baking spices fill the glass, followed by vibrant flavors of juicy plum, black cherry, and cardamom. A velvety texture and bright acidity distinguish this naturally balanced wine. The grapes are hand harvested and hand sorted in the field, gently destemmed, and transferred to small stainless steel open-top tanks. After a three-day cold soak, select yeast strains are introduced and fermentors are punched down one to three times per day. The wine is pressed dry and moved to barrels to complete malolactic fermentation before blending and bottling.

This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with salmon, fowl, and meat entrées such as beef bourguignon or rack of lamb. It also complements herb-roasted turkey, fall harvest salads with butternut squash and pecans, sweet potatoes with walnuts, and herb bread stuffing.
