Martin Ray 'Synthesis' Cabernet Sauvignon is the winery's flagship Napa Valley red blend, drawing fruit from five prestigious sub-appellations — Rutherford, Oakville, Howell Mountain, Stags Leap District, and Diamond Mountain District. The blend spans the full spectrum of Napa's terroir, from the high-elevation volcanic soils of Diamond and Howell Mountain to the alluvial valley floor vineyards of Yountville and Rutherford.

The wine is fermented in small, 5-ton open-top fermenters over two weeks with regular pump-overs for cap management, then aged in 40% new French oak for 18 months. The result is a deep and polished Cabernet showcasing plum, fresh cherry, and marionberry with touches of cassis and clove. Vibrant red fruits are layered with dried sage and cedar, while the full-bodied palate offers bright acidity balanced by well-integrated tannins, with a hint of cocoa and earth on the finish.
