First introduced in 2000, the Knock Out family of roses revolutionized the rose industry and remains one of the most popular and prolific flowering shrubs ever introduced. This tree form delivers the same vivid, continuous color and carefree growth as the traditional Knock Out shrub, but in an elegant upright tree shape perfectly suited for patios, entryways, porches, and container gardens.

The tree blooms abundantly from early spring through the first fall frost, producing clusters of cherry-red flowers that are entirely self-cleaning — no deadheading required. The Knock Out Rose Tree is highly disease resistant, demonstrating strong tolerance to common rose problems like black spot and powdery mildew. Its hardy nature also makes it drought tolerant once established.

Plant in a well-drained location with full sun, providing at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Water every 2 to 3 days under normal conditions, or daily during extreme heat. Use nutrient-rich, well-draining soil and mulch around the base to suppress weeds. If shaping is desired, prune once per year, cutting back to no less than 12 to 18 inches. Space multiple trees at least 3 feet apart for proper airflow and growth.
