Fortaleza Reposado is a premium artisanal tequila crafted by the fifth-generation Sauza family at their estate in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico using traditional methods dating back 125 years. This 100% agave tequila is made from lowland agave sourced from the Tequila Valley, slow-cooked in stone brick ovens, and 100% stone-crushed using a traditional tahona wheel.

The spirit is double-distilled in copper pot stills, fermented in open-air wood tanks using natural spring water from the Tequila Valley, and aged in American oak barrels. Each lot is individually aged with the specific aging statement displayed on the bottle. The hand-blown glass bottles are crafted in Mexico.

On the nose, expect aromas of citrus, caramel, butter, cooked agave, and sage. The palate delivers flavors of cooked agave, citrus, vanilla, apple, earth, and cinnamon with a pleasingly oily texture. The finish is long, rich, and delicately spicy.
