Le Grand Bouqueteau is a Cabernet Franc-based red wine from the Chinon appellation in the Loire Valley, France, produced by Château du Coudray Montpensier. Chinon is one of the Loire Valley's most celebrated red wine regions, renowned for terroir-driven wines made predominantly from the Cabernet Franc grape. This Reserve bottling represents the estate's commitment to quality through careful vineyard management.

The Grand Bouqueteau vineyard, established in 2003, was built around four founding principles: harnessing the diversity and quality of its soils, careful matching of vines to rootstocks, high-trained canopy management for optimal sun exposure, and separate vat fermentation for each individual parcel of land. These practices allow the distinct character of each plot to be expressed in the final wine.

The wine pours a vivid cherry and ruby red. On the nose, it opens with a complex aromatic profile featuring vanilla, coffee, dried fruit, warm spice, and perfumed blackberry. The palate is soft and juicy with flavors of cherry and wild strawberry layered over richer red and dark fruit notes, supported by refined, chewy tannins. The finish is full-bodied, persistent, and characteristically dry — a hallmark of classic Chinon. Alcohol: 13% ABV.
