Fresh Wild King Salmon Fillet is sourced from wild Pacific waters and sold per pound, offering exceptional quality and flavor. King salmon, also known as Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha), is the largest of all Pacific salmon species, prized for its rich, buttery texture and deep orange-red flesh with vibrant natural color.
Wild-caught king salmon has a higher fat content (13–18%) than other salmon varieties, resulting in superior moisture retention during cooking and a luxurious, full-bodied flavor. The flesh is naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, high-quality protein, vitamin B12, niacin, and selenium, making it one of the most nutritionally dense seafood options available.
Ideal for grilling, pan-searing, low-temperature roasting, or baking, the fillet performs well across a wide range of cooking methods thanks to its high fat content. For best results, thaw gradually in the refrigerator, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F, and consume within one to two days of purchase.
