Sella & Mosca Cannonau di Sardegna is a prestigious Sardinian red wine crafted from 100% Cannonau grapes — the local name for Grenache — produced at the historic I Piani estate in northwestern Sardinia, Italy. Founded over a century ago by Mr. Sella and Mr. Mosca, the winery operates one of Italy's most storied estates, a 1,600-acre contiguous vineyard that ranks among the largest in all of Europe. All wines are made exclusively from estate-grown grapes.

The wine presents a ruby red color with an elegant bouquet of cherries, red berries, and herbal accents, developing notes of violets, earthy leather, and subtle spice with age. On the palate it delivers soft, polished tannins with mineral undertones and a lingering spiced finish. Grapes are harvested in late autumn and fermented on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, then aged six months in oak barrels. The wine is vegan-friendly and sealed with a natural cork closure at approximately 13.5% ABV.

Critically acclaimed across multiple vintages, this wine has earned 94 points from James Suckling, 91 points from Wine Enthusiast, and 90 points from both Vinous and Wine Spectator, which ranked it among the Top 100 Wines of 2021.
