Marqués de Cáceres Crianza is a classic red wine from the D.O.Ca. Rioja appellation in Spain, produced by one of Rioja's most respected bodegas. This 750 mL bottle is sold in a case of 12.

The wine is made primarily from Tempranillo grapes sourced from carefully selected small parcels in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, hand-harvested at optimal ripeness. Grapes are destemmed and undergo alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by extended maceration up to 20 days to develop color, aromas, and palate density. Malolactic fermentation is completed in a combination of new oak barrels and stainless steel. The wine then ages for 12 months in a blend of French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrels, followed by a minimum of one year of bottle aging before release.

On the nose, the wine offers fresh balsamic notes intertwined with black fruit aromas, backed by subtle spice and delicate oak with hints of licorice. The palate shows a pleasant volume with velvety tannins, finishing with savory, mentholated, and balsamic notes. The wine is 13.5% ABV and is best served at 16°C.
