The Periquita Reserva Tinto is a Portuguese red wine blend produced by José Maria da Fonseca, one of Portugal's most celebrated wineries, from the Península de Setúbal region in southern Portugal. Crafted by winemaker Domingos Soares Franco, this wine is a blend of 54% Castelão, 28% Touriga Nacional, and 18% Touriga Francesa, sourced from the Vinha Grande de Algeruz vineyard on sandy soils.

The wine is aged for 8 months in new oak barrels — 80% American and 20% French — lending it a distinctive character of ripe dark fruit and warm spice. It offers fruity aromas of fresh blackberries and dried black cherry with notes of vanilla, oak, and tobacco spice. On the palate it reveals smooth, balanced tannins, a soft and juicy mouthfeel, and a long, silky finish. Alcohol is 13.5% by volume with 8.6 g/L of residual sugar.

Pairs well with roasted meats and stews.
