The PowerOne ACCU Plus Size 312 is a 2-pack of NiMH rechargeable batteries designed as a drop-in replacement for standard size 312 (brown tab) zinc-air hearing aid batteries. Each cell operates at 1.2 volts with a 23mAh capacity and measures 7.9mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height, making them a direct physical fit for any hearing aid that accepts a standard size 312 battery.

These batteries are an environmentally responsible and cost-effective alternative to disposable zinc-air cells, as each rechargeable battery can replace up to 57 conventional batteries over its lifetime. They contain no mercury, cadmium, or lead, and are subject to strict quality and safety testing. There is no memory effect, meaning the batteries maintain consistent capacity even after repeated charging cycles. A 2-pack provides one battery per ear for binaural hearing aid users.

Charging requires a compatible PowerOne charger sold separately, such as the PowerOne Pocketcharger or Pen Charger. Two empty cells reach a full charge in approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. These batteries are compatible with most hearing aids in which a standard zinc-air size 312 cell lasts more than 10 days between changes, and are not compatible with Oticon hearing aids, ZPower chargers, or hearing aids with integrated built-in rechargeable batteries.
