The needles include an anti-coring treatment on the rear end, ensuring clean piercing of the insulin cartridge with no fragmentation. They are universally compatible, fitting virtually all insulin and other drug delivery pens, including Owen Mumford's own Autopen. Each needle is sterile and intended for single use only.

The Pentips Plus model features Safe Click Technology with a built-in needle remover, providing a convenient and safer method for disposing of used needles. Once used, the needle locks securely into the disposal chamber, making on-the-go disposal safer and more hygienic.
