Maldonado Farmworker Chardonnay is a value-driven Napa Valley white wine produced by Maldonado Vineyards, a family-owned winery founded by Hugo and Lidia Maldonado in northern Napa Valley. The winery's legacy traces back to 1962 when Lupe Maldonado arrived in Napa and spent 30 years at Sterling Vineyards and Newton Vineyard. Hugo Maldonado, a UC Davis graduate in Enology & Viticulture, took over operations in 1999 and crafted his first vintage in 2002.

This 100% Napa Valley Chardonnay is fermented in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel, producing a well-balanced wine with pear, golden apple, and citrus blossom aromatics. On the palate, it delivers golden delicious apple, pineapple, peach, and apricot flavors with a creamy mouthfeel and bright, rich acidity. The wine is designed to be food-friendly and is widely regarded as over-delivering for its price point.
