El Puntido Gran Reserva is a distinguished 100% Tempranillo red wine from the Rioja DOCa appellation in Spain, produced by Vinedos de Paganos. The wine is sourced from a single-vineyard estate — the El Puntido vineyard — whose name derives from an old word meaning "staircase landing," reflecting the terraced landscape between the Sierra de Cantabria mountains and the Ebro River depression.

Grapes are selected from higher-altitude, sloped, lower-yielding parcels with franc-clay and calcareous-clay soils over a deep sandy rocky sub-soil. The wine is aged 16 months in new French oak Bordelaise barrels, developing a full-bodied, concentrated character that defines the Gran Reserva category.
