The Arsonist Red Blend is an estate-grown and bottled wine from Matchbook Wine Company, sourced from vineyards in the Dunnigan Hills appellation of California. The 2021 vintage earned a 92-point rating from Wine Enthusiast.

The blend consists of 52% Petit Verdot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 23% Malbec, each sourced from distinct Matchbook estate vineyard sites. The wine was aged 24 months in a combination of Carpathian, American, French, and Demptos hybrid oak barrels, developing its signature complexity. Alcohol content is 13.9%.

On the palate, The Arsonist delivers big, lush structure with a mouthcoating texture and firm tannins. Aromas of red berries, violets, and saddle leather lead into flavors of blueberry, blackberry, boysenberry, vanilla, dried cranberries, and chocolate-covered cherries. Pairs especially well with fatty, charred meats and BBQ.
