The Arsonist Chardonnay is a rich, full-bodied California white wine crafted by Matchbook Winery from the Dunnigan Hills AVA. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this wine pours a golden yellow with slow, full legs. The nose presents honeysuckle, Bartlett pear, coconut, and toast aromas, while the palate reveals smooth, round notes of pineapple, melon, and honey balanced by a pleasant underlying minerality that keeps it from being an oak-forward butter bomb.

The wine is produced using bâtonnage—frequent stirring of the lees during aging—combined with malolactic fermentation to achieve its signature creamy roundness and velvety mouthfeel. The finish is coating and long with a very subtle smokiness that lingers pleasantly.
