Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot is a premium red wine from one of Napa Valley's most acclaimed producers. Founded in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, the winery produced its first Merlot in 1978 after being inspired by a visit to Bordeaux, playing a pivotal role in establishing Merlot as one of North America's great varietals.

This elegant wine features a blend of approximately 80% Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, sourced from select vineyard sites across Oak Knoll, Carneros, Calistoga, Yountville, and St. Helena. The wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels with 40% new oak. It offers vibrant aromas of red currant, ripe plum, black raspberry, cherry, and sweet baking spices, with hints of tea leaves and cocoa.
