Quinta de Cabriz Reserva is a distinguished red wine from the Dão appellation in central Portugal, crafted by the renowned estate Quinta de Cabriz. The Dão region is celebrated for producing elegant, structured reds from indigenous Portuguese grape varieties, and this Reserva expression exemplifies that tradition.

The wine is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Roriz — the classic red varieties of the Dão. It displays an intense ruby color with balsamic notes, floral fragrances, and aromas of wild, well-ripened red fruits. On the palate, the tannins are round, firm, and fruit-forward, with a finish that is elegant and persistent.

Grapes are manually harvested, fully destemmed, and gently crushed before fermentation with skin maceration lasting approximately 10 days. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 9 months, followed by an additional 6 months in bottle before release. This extended aging process adds complexity and polish to the final wine.
