Kirkland Signature Esomeprazole Magnesium 20mg delayed-release capsules provide effective treatment for frequent heartburn occurring 2 or more days per week. Each package contains 42 capsules organized as three 14-day courses of treatment. The active ingredient, esomeprazole magnesium 20mg, is equivalent to the active ingredient in Nexium 24HR and works by reducing stomach acid production.

This acid reducer is clinically proven to treat frequent heartburn when taken once every 24 hours for 14 days. The medication may take 1 to 4 days for full effect and is not intended for immediate relief. The delayed-release capsules should be swallowed whole with water before eating in the morning and must not be crushed or chewed. Treatment may be repeated every 4 months if needed.

The product is gluten-free and FSA eligible. Inactive ingredients include gelatin, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, ferric oxide, and FD&C dyes.
