Advil Liqui-Gels Ibuprofen Dispenser Box contains 100 liquid-filled capsules packaged in 50 individual packets with 2 capsules per packet. Each capsule contains 200 mg of solubilized ibuprofen (NSAID) that provides fast-acting pain relief and fever reduction. This dispenser format makes it convenient to carry packets on the go for quick relief at work, travel, or daily activities.
The liquid gel formulation delivers faster relief than traditional tablets, with ibuprofen already dissolved for rapid absorption. Advil Liqui-Gels effectively relieve headaches, backaches, muscle aches, menstrual pain, minor arthritis pain, toothaches, and aches and pains from the common cold. The capsules are easy to swallow and can be taken with food or milk to avoid stomach upset. Relief lasts up to 6 hours per dose.
Active ingredient is solubilized ibuprofen equal to 200 mg ibuprofen present as the free acid and potassium salt. Inactive ingredients include FD&C green no. 3, gelatin, lecithin (soybean), medium-chain triglycerides, pharmaceutical ink, polyethylene glycol, potassium hydroxide, purified water, and sorbitol sorbitan solution. Each capsule contains 20 mg potassium.
Adults and children 12 years and over can take 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 capsule, 2 capsules may be used. Do not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Store at 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F) and avoid excessive heat above 40 degrees C (104 degrees F).
Allergy alert: Ibuprofen may cause severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to aspirin. Symptoms may include hives, facial swelling, asthma (wheezing), shock, skin reddening, rash, or blisters. This product contains an NSAID which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The risk is higher if you are age 60 or older, have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, take blood thinning or steroid drugs, take other NSAIDs, have 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily while using this product, or take more or for longer than directed. NSAIDs except aspirin increase the risk of heart attack, heart failure, and stroke.
