Silver Stag Coombsville Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium Napa Valley wine from the Parsley Family Estates, produced from a select block in their vineyard located in the cooler Coombsville district just north and east of Napa. This rich, full-bodied Cabernet is dark garnet in color and exudes elegant aromas of cassis, blackberries, blueberries, and lush plum. On the palate, it combines complex layers of concentrated dark fruit, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, violets, spice, and a touch of mocha, all wrapped within refined, sinewy tannins.

Silver Stag distinguishes itself by aging their wines significantly longer than industry standards, spending up to three years in barrel before bottling and another year or two prior to release. The winery is singularly focused on high-quality, low-production Cabernet Sauvignon from their small 5-acre vineyard. Winemaker Chris Corley employs minimal intervention techniques to express the unique terroir of the Coombsville AVA, a moderate to cooler growing region influenced by San Pablo Bay breezes and fog. The wine is approachable and drinkable early in its life yet age-worthy for 15 plus years with proper cellar care.
