The Roasterie Air Capital Blend is a whole bean coffee from Kansas City's The Roasterie, crafted using their signature air-roasting method. The name "Air Capital" is a nod to the American Midwest's aviation heritage — a fitting tribute from one of the only coffee companies in the world to air-roast their beans.

The Roasterie's air roasting process suspends each bean on a bed of 680-degree hot air inside a fluid bed vortex, allowing every bean to be roasted evenly and to perfection. As the beans pop and crack during roasting, the outer skin — called the chaff — is blown away into a separate chamber, preventing it from burning and introducing smoky, bitter flavors. The result is a cleaner, smoother cup that highlights the natural character of the bean. Only about 1% of the world's coffee is air roasted, making this a distinctively rare style of roast.
