Murai Family Nigori Genshu is a bold, unfiltered sake from Aomori Prefecture in Japan's Tōhoku region, brewed by the renowned Momokawa Brewing Company. As a genshu, it is bottled undiluted, resulting in a higher alcohol content of approximately 19.9% ABV — rare and distinctive in the sake world.

The sake pours with the characteristic cloudy appearance of the nigori style, featuring aromas of sweet cream, grape, honey, and yogurt. On the palate it is rich and velvety, with flavors of cream, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla layered over a sweet, milky base. Hints of berry and grape emerge on the mid-palate, and despite its high alcohol content and sweet profile (Sake Meter Value of -22, acidity 2.0), the sake remains smooth and round with a long, expansive finish.
