The Smead 12040 Top Tab Colored Fastener File Folders offer a reliable organizational solution for letter-size documents. Each folder features two metal K-style fasteners—one on the front panel and one on the back—creating two separate filing surfaces to keep documents securely in place and neatly separated.

The folders are made from 11-point colored stock in a vivid blue finish, with reinforced 1/3-cut top tabs for added durability and long-lasting use. Each folder expands to 3/4" and holds approximately 100–150 sheets of standard 20 lb paper per fastener section, with a total fastener capacity of 2 inches per folder. The box contains 50 folders.
