The Smead SMD12740 is a top-tab fastener file folder designed for organizing letter-size documents in standard drawer filing systems. Each folder features two K-style prong fasteners positioned at positions 1 and 3, allowing users to securely attach paperwork to both the front and back panels of the folder and keep pages neatly aligned.
The folders are made from 11-point colored stock in a bright red finish, which supports color-coded document identification across filing systems. Each folder has a reinforced 1/3-cut assorted top tab for durability during repeated handling and labeling. The folder includes a 3/4" expansion score for accommodating standard document volumes, with a 2" fastener capacity.
Each box contains 50 letter-size (8.5" x 11") folders. These folders are well-suited for use in offices, records departments, legal practices, accounting firms, and administrative filing environments.
