Fresh Farmed Atlantic Salmon Steak, Bone-In is a cross-cut portion of whole Atlantic salmon that retains the center bone and surrounding pinbones, offering a hearty, restaurant-style presentation with exceptional moisture retention during cooking. Sold by the pound, each steak comes from farm-raised Atlantic salmon, which is naturally higher in fat and richer in flavor than wild-caught varieties, producing a juicy, tender result whether cooked simply or with bold seasonings.
This bone-in cut is exceptionally versatile and performs beautifully when grilled, broiled, pan-seared, or oven-baked. The bone structure helps lock in moisture and distribute heat evenly, making it forgiving for home cooks. The salmon is done when the flesh transitions from translucent to fully opaque, or when an internal thermometer reads 145°F at the thickest part away from the bone. It pairs well with citrus, herb butters, soy-based glazes, and Mediterranean seasonings, and works equally well as an everyday weeknight dinner or an impressive centerpiece for entertaining.
