Naia Verdejo is a classic white wine from Bodegas Naia, one of the most established producers in the DO Rueda appellation of Castilla y León, Spain. Made from the indigenous Verdejo grape, this wine is crafted from vineyards on the left bank of the River Duero, the majority of which are 30 to 35 years old, with a small parcel of ungrafted 90-year-old Verdejo vines located in La Seca.

Grapes are partially hand-picked and whole bunch pressed. Vinification uses a combination of wild and neutral yeast ferments. The wine undergoes four months of lees aging with daily battonage, with the blend resting in a mix of stainless steel tanks, large foudres, and used oak barriques to add texture without overwhelming oak character.

On the nose, the wine shows ripe stone fruit aromas with lightly savoury and herbal notes. The palate delivers ripe citrus, fresh nectarine, and peach, with a textural mid-palate and a bright, long finish with a subtle bitter twist. It pairs well with shellfish, crisp salads, olives, and tomato-based dishes.
