SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale is the flagship brew from Atlanta-based SweetWater Brewing Company, first conceived on April 20th, 1997. This West Coast-style extra pale ale is highly drinkable and has developed a devoted following throughout the Southeast and beyond. This Costco pack includes 24 cans at 16 oz each.
The beer delivers fresh hoppy notes of lemon, grapefruit, and pine with a low perceived bitterness and a clean, crisp finish. It is brewed with a malt bill of 2-Row, Midnight Wheat, Munich, and Wheat malts, and hopped with Cascade and Centennial varieties. The flavor profile is described as balanced, crisp, grapefruit, and piney. ABV is 5.7% with 39 IBUs.
