Safe Step Sure Paws is a premium, salt-free ice melt designed specifically with pets in mind. This 12-pound jug contains a patented formula made from magnesium chloride and sulfate of potash that is gentler on pets' paws and skin compared to traditional rock salt.
The concentrated pellets cover twice the area of rock salt while being effective at temperatures as low as -15°F (-26°C). The formula clears ice and snow quickly without irritating pets' paws or skin when used as directed.
Safe Step Sure Paws is also less harmful to concrete, vegetation, and the environment compared to conventional ice melters. The product is manufactured by Compass Minerals America Inc. and is made in the USA.
