Casanova di Neri's Tenuta Nuova is a single-estate Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Tuscany, Italy, crafted entirely from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown on the Tenuta Nuova estate—a site with no prior Sangiovese planting history. The wine represents the producer's signature expression of a powerful yet structured Brunello with outstanding aging potential.

The wine delivers aromas of dark cherry, blackberry compote, licorice, star anise, and toasted spice, with underlying notes of tobacco, iron, and earth. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied with robust, refined tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, complex finish. It is aged for approximately 30 to 36 months in 500-liter oak barrels before release.

Tenuta Nuova has consistently received scores of 95 to 97 points from major critics including Wine Advocate, Jeb Dunnuck, James Suckling, Vinous Media, and Wine Spectator across multiple vintages. It is best paired with beef, venison, game, and aged hard cheeses, and benefits from decanting or additional bottle aging. Recent vintages have drink windows extending through 2043 and beyond.
