Ruby Hill Winery Zinfandel is an estate-grown red wine from the historic Livermore Valley appellation in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Ruby Hill Winery was founded in 1883 by John Crellin, who planted the first vineyards into a distinctive red clay knoll — the origin of the "Ruby Hill" name. By 1889 it was one of the largest wine producers in the Livermore Valley. Revived in 2002, the winery now farms its estate vineyards using the highest level of sustainable practices, benefiting from the excellent drainage, soils, and surrounding hills that create a microclimate unique to the region.

This Zinfandel is a rich and intense style with aromas and flavors of blackberry, mulberry, and black cherry, layered with cinnamon-vanilla spice and bittersweet chocolate. The wine may be blended with a small amount of estate Petite Sirah to add structure and depth. It finishes dry with well-integrated tannins and an elevated alcohol content around 15% ABV.
