Chateau Grand Traverse Block 12 Riesling is a single-vineyard white wine from Old Mission Peninsula, Michigan. Block Twelve is one of the winery's most prized vineyard parcels, where southeast-facing slopes and mineral-rich soils create ideal conditions for cool-climate Riesling.
The wine pours pale straw with green reflections. The nose delivers honeysuckle, lime blossom, and peach skin, while the palate offers juicy citrus, green apple, and subtle tropical notes wrapped in a sleek, dry finish. Crystalline acidity and tension make this a precise, terroir-driven expression of the grape. Residual sugar is 1.57% with 11.7% alcohol by volume.
Pairs beautifully with citrus-marinated shrimp, lemon-roasted chicken with herbed couscous, asparagus with béarnaise sauce, or goat cheese and arugula salad with walnuts.
