Dry Fly Distilling's Straight Bourbon 101 holds the distinction of being the first legal bourbon ever made in Washington State. Produced at the Dry Fly Distillery in Spokane, Washington, this wheated bourbon features a mash bill of 60% corn, 20% wheat, and 20% malted barley, with corn sourced from a local Hutterian Settlement and wheat grown by regional farmers.

Aged for a minimum of four years in 53-gallon new charred American oak barrels, the spirit develops a rich and layered character. The nose presents wheat notes alongside doughy biscuit, vanilla bean, cinnamon, and nutmeg. On the palate, spicy oak and a hint of pepper give way to corn sweetness, vanilla, cloves, and warming baking spices. The finish is long and satisfying, with cedar, rich vanilla, and lingering spice.

Bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, this bourbon has earned notable recognition including a Silver Medal at Whiskies of the World 2018, 96 points from Tasting Panel Magazine, a Gold Medal at the World Spirits Awards, and Double Gold with Best in Show honors at the San Diego International Spirits Competition.
