Sorelle Winery Sangiovese is a California red wine crafted from the Sangiovese grape grown in the Lodi AVA, located in the Central Valley near the Calaveras River. Sorelle Winery was founded by Mike Scott on a historic 4-acre estate featuring the old Dodge House, a property dating to 1866. The winery's name — "sorelle," meaning "sisters" in Italian — reflects the Scott family's Italian heritage and the involvement of his two daughters in winery operations.

The Sangiovese vines are planted in a clay-sandy loam soil typical of the Lodi appellation, with meticulous vineyard management including shoot and cluster thinning, leaf stripping, deficit irrigation, and hand harvesting. These practices are designed to preserve Sangiovese's characteristic natural acidity and delicate fruit character. The wine is made with minimal processing and aged in largely neutral barrels to emphasize fruit expression over wood influence.

Sorelle's Sangiovese is known for its beautifully focused aromas of black cherry and rose petal with dried herb undertones, a sleekly textured medium body, bright natural acidity, and moderate tannins. This 750ML bottle is sold by Costco as a case of 12 units.
