Chapillon Siendra is a rich, full-bodied red blend from the Calatayud DO in the Aragon region of Spain. The wine is composed primarily of 80% Garnacha (Grenache), rounded out with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, sourced from the high-altitude vineyards that characterize this rugged Spanish appellation.

The wine delivers generous aromas of spiced cherries, ripe berries, and pastry spices, with a dense, chocolaty character on the palate. It is medium to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins and a textural, seductive finish with good length. Rated 91 points by James Suckling, this wine drinks well now or can be held for further development. It pairs beautifully with lamb, red meats, aged cheeses, and hearty stews.
