Dulce Vida 5-Year Extra Añejo is a premium, 100-proof (50% ABV) tequila crafted from 100% organic Tequilana Weber blue agave sustainably sourced from the Los Altos Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. This special expression was created to mark Dulce Vida's five-year market anniversary and is aged for five full years in single American white oak barrels previously used for Napa Valley Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon wines, imparting a rich, complex character distinct from younger añejos.

Produced at NOM 1443 (Grupo Industrial Tequilero de los Altos de Jalisco), the spirit is double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills and fermented using 100% agave in stainless steel tanks. The extended aging in wine casks gives this high-proof tequila a deep amber-saffron color and a notably whiskey-like profile that bridges the worlds of premium tequila and aged barrel spirits.
