Lewis & Clark Brewing Company's Prickly Pear Pale Ale is an American Pale Ale brewed in Helena, Montana. This craft beer is made with a blend of Montana pale ale, crystal, and dextrin malts, combined with generous Northwest hops added both in the kettle and as a dry hop addition. The beer is brewed with real prickly pear cactus, named after the Prickly Pear Cactus found in the North Helena Valley that Lewis and Clark encountered as they portaged around the Great Falls of the Missouri.
