Quinta Nova Referencia is a Grande Reserva-tier red wine from the acclaimed estate Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, situated in the Cima Corgo subregion of Portugal's Douro Valley. Crafted primarily from Tinta Roriz old vines, this wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks followed by a prolonged maceration of seven days, then ages for 16 months in French oak barrels and an additional six months in the bottle before release.

On the nose, the wine presents intense aromatic complexity with ripe dark fruit, balsamic hints, mineral notes reminiscent of graphite and granitic stone, and a beautifully fresh character. The palate is powerful and structured, delivering waves of concentrated dark fruit intertwined with mineral precision and a magnificent, lingering freshness. Tannins are prominent yet refined, and the finish is long and layered with fine oak integration providing depth without overpowering the wine's natural terroir expression.

Serve at 16°C–18°C (61°F–64°F). Store in a cool environment around 15°C (59°F). Alcohol by volume: 14%.
