Renwood Special Reserve Grandpère Zinfandel is crafted from estate-grown grapes in Amador County, part of the Sierra Foothills AVA in California. The Grandpère vineyard block contains some of the oldest known Zinfandel clones in America, contributing exceptional depth and complexity to this wine.

All grapes are handpicked and fermented in small lots, then aged in French oak barrels to preserve the unique character of each parcel. The wine offers aromas of sage, raspberry, crushed violets, and dark rose petals, with flavors of ripe plum, dried cherry, black pepper, and a decadent dusting of cacao. Tannins are firm but well-balanced, with good acidity providing great freshness. Easily enjoyable upon release, it also cellars well for up to a decade.
