WindVane Pinot Noir Carneros is a 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir from California's Carneros appellation, produced by Gloria Ferrer Winery under the Freixenet Mionetto portfolio. The wine is crafted from select vineyard blocks across 335 acres of estate vineyards, with grapes hand harvested at night into small 30-pound picking boxes to preserve freshness and integrity.

The winemaking process begins with gentle destemming and a two-day cold soak to extract color and flavor before fermentation in small tanks ranging from 3 to 10 tons. Skin contact is managed by daily punch-downs or pump-overs, and only the free-run wine is used in the final blend. The wine is then aged 9 months in 100% French Oak.

Deep red with hints of ruby, the wine opens on the nose with intense black cherry and blackberry aromas alongside spice and bramble. On the palate, it delivers a full, silky texture framed by sweet French oak, with building spice that carries into a bright finish. Alcohol is 14.5%. Pairs well with grilled pork loin with blackberry sage sauce, marinated flank steak, firm textured cheeses, or ginger-spiced blueberry shortcake.
